We have been going through a transitional phase at RC, we’ve taken some months to step back and revaluate our intentions and motivations moving forward. It will be a new look and new approach going forward.
Through this I’ve been personally feeling a sort of Apathy towards music, releasing it and the industry in general, navigating this has been unusual and new but I am feeling refreshed, I’ve got my spark of insanity back and we have a lot of new music I look forward to sharing.
Good news is we have releases lined up from some returning RC members alongside a few new faces from Neo-Melbourne.
Repeat Concrete release RC-19 is going to be an EP from the artist often known as Rings Around Saturn working under new parameters and of course, a new Alias for a series of releases, the first of which is going through mastering and art creation now, the EP (4-6 tracks at this stage) heavily features SuperSaw waves if you catch my drift.
Release news and clips will be online soon, along with a proper newsletter for a wordy and bloated update on where we are at and what we’d like to do moving in a forward direction.
For now, we wanted to share a highlight from the previous newsletter as it deserved to be publicly documented.
Please contact us with your email if you’d like to be added to our casual and semi regular newsletter which contains forthcoming music news, free music downloads from the crew and general shithousery about new music, the music industry and the creative practice.
The script below, a Manifesto of sorts, hath been penn'd by a cloaked fellowship with whom we have parleyed; read on for more mirth and revelry.
The following, whatever you want to call it, I received via email through a very quiet, yet influential and dark, semi-occult obsessed artist collective who requested to not be outed by name.
They are Digital Nomads, without a home(page), but as you will soon see, they are onto a few good ideas which are worthy of consideration. Should you wish to penetrate further into this circle, you may be at a loss; however, they are known to familiarise themselves to those wandering the backwaters of the internet and at the right time, they may appear to you.
They have beliefs about the "MindVirus" - the thought that what we consume penetrates its seeds deep into the subconscious mind before sprouting into 'new' thoughts and ideas you never thought you'd be capable of. You may not even realise when it gets you, but you will soon have your mental cache wiped and replaced with whatever the creator wants or needs of you. Try not to take virus with a negative implication with these lunatics, it's something far stranger, the Mindvirus is catchy but it's more of a Flexible System or Network-at-Play.
I have been given permission to post the Spring 23' text publicly, at my own risk.
I say be weary of their whispers however, my conversations with this crew have been fruitful as you may see.
Finally, if they do get in touch with you you will know it, be mindful of their trickery, do not take anything material of which they may offer.

As lone pain: do you take my dare?”

We, the -redacted-, declare the dawn of a new age in music, where wires pulse with the heartbeat of innovation. We are the vanguard of sound, architects of sonic realms uncharted, our virus hides internally, it patiently bides its time before reanimating with opportune replication.
All truths learned in schools or studios are to be abolished, creative blocks are IMPOSSIBLE. Art critics are generally useless or harmful and the age of Musical Alchemy is here and real, very real.
1. Embrace the Machine Symphony: We celebrate the symphony of circuits, where machines breathe life into music. Let the analog and digital collide in a harmonious cacophony that transcends the limitations of acoustic instruments.
2. Reject the Conventions of Old: Gone are the days of sheet music and orchestral constraints. We defy the norms, unleashing the boundless potential of electronic soundscapes. The future demands audacious experimentation and methodical accuracy.
3. Harness the Power of Algorithmic Alchemy: In algorithms, we find the philosopher's stone. We conjure new compositions through mathematical magic, where code becomes melody, and data dances as rhythm.
4. Surrender to the Pulse of the Beat: Whether implied or otherwise obvious, the heartbeat of humanity is found in the pulsating rhythms of music. Let either the dance floor or your personal space be our laboratory, where bodies sync with machines in a primal celebration of sound.
5. Sculpt Sonic Textures: Sound is our clay, and we are sculptors of aural landscapes. We craft textures that transport the listener to realms unknown, where cybernetics, imagination and reality intertwine.
6. Amplify the Voices of the Underground: We champion the underground, where subcultures thrive and radical voices resonate. In the shadows, we uncover sonic revolutions that challenge the conventional. The youth will always innovate and in doing so, show you the right and just.
7. Unleash Synesthetic Sensations: Music transcends hearing; it touches the senses in a synesthetic embrace with the natural world. Visuals and sound merge into multisensory experiences that awaken the dormant senses, the full frequency must be utilised with deliberate precision.
8. Journey into the Ethereal Ether: The ether is our canvas, where ethereal soundscape awaits. We explore the metaphysical realms of sound, where the intangible becomes tangible in sonic form.
9. Liberate Music from Physical Boundaries: Music or sound knows no walls. Through the digital realm, we share our creations instantly, spanning continents and cultures, uniting souls in the universal language of sound.
10. Embrace the Ever-Evolving Now: In this moment, the future unfolds. The past is a sample, the future an open synth and the present is our musical canvas. Live in the now, for it is where the eternal revolution thrives.
There can be no renewal of art if the essence itself is not renewed. Why entertain a 'genre' when you can start the etching of your own page.
We have entered Spring and the seeds have been planted to cultivate in the garden of our minds. Be ready to pick from the tree of life when the time is right.
We, the -redacted-, stand on the precipice of a sonic renaissance. Together, we shall shape the destiny of music, transcending the boundaries of traditional composition. The electronic frontier beckons, and we answer its call with boundless enthusiasm, all is conventional in art, originality is glorified.

Do with that what you will..
I'm gonna be honest, if you did read it all, it's may be too late for you.
